Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.

Graphic Design

This was a logo that I designed for a school news program called IU Update. I knew I wanted to use basic shapes to convey the idea of camera and broadcasting. Unfortunately, the news program never started but the logo did turn out great.

This was a logo I created for a fictional service. The service would be a drone pilot academy, I knew I wanted to play with the ideas of a graduation cap and propellers.

This series of designs is from a prompt in which we were tasked to create a brand and design the packaging for a product. I chose to design the packaging for a camera. (I really like cameras) I created a fictional camera brand called Eyeris and utilized color photos to create a mosaic effect.

Animation

I made this during the summer of 2020 under quarantine. It was my first time using after effects in a purely creative way. I found the graphic of this beach and saw a scene in my mind set to Childish Gambino’s I feel like Summer. I animated the sun setting and colors shifting. I also added the palm trees and created the birds along with their wing flapping. After this project I was hooked.

This was my first time using blender to animate and it was both difficult and exciting. I followed a YouTube tutorial to create this piece. It was inspired by the endless looping videos that had been circulating online for sometime. I hope to continue to strengthen my 3D animation skills.

This animation was a logo that I animated for a company called Studiolyn. I had spoken with the client and they had told me they wanted “studio” to drop down and the “lyn” part to swoop in. This required me to download the logo, fill the white space of the “lyn” in sequentially and then animate the opacity going from 100% to 0%. I am very pleased with how this came out.
